What's playing on your iPod at the moment?

Frankie Rose and the Outs, especially 'Little Brown Haired Girls.'

What book are you currently reading?

I just finished No Country for Old Men... it was quite the intense experience!

What item in your wardrobe is getting the most wear at the moment?

Four necklaces - a handmade silver and balsalt pendant, a silver interlocking squares necklace and two vintage rope-style necklaces.

Where do you buy most of your clothes?

I try to keep to vintage and Kuwaii.

Do you have any favourite current trends?

Vintage, pendant necklaces and jumpsuits.

Can you describe what your workroom looks like?

It's in an old converted milk bar shopfront. It has amazing big windows all across the front, white walls, a grey floor and a huge white curtain.

Is there anyone you'd like to see wearing your designs?

Rose Byrne.

Where or when do you feel most inspired?

After research at the library and when I'm out seeing music and exhibitions.

Could you give us any tidbits about your next collection?

It's inspired by Marc Chagall, so I've used muted yet deep colours. I'm focusing on pleats, clever sleeve details, pants, dresses and jackets.

What's the best fashion advice you've been given?

'Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off' - Coco Chanel.
